History and Bylaws


Seven investment professionals, two CFA charterholders, and five CFA candidates formed the organizing committee of the Italian Society of Investment Professionals (ISIP) in March 1998. The Society was created in June 1999. In June 2005 the Society changed its name to the Italian CFA Society (ICFAS) and in 2012 to CFA Society Italy (CFASI).

CFA Society Italy is organized as a non-profit organization under Italian law, and is affiliated with CFA Institute in the United States. Admitted September 16, 1999.
